Kokeshi is wooden Japanese doll, traditional craft of Miyagi and other area of Japan.
The Keicho-era mission to Europe's 400th anniversary.
In 1613, DATE Masamune, the lord of the Sendai Domain, dispatched the Keicho-era mission to Europe (over 180 people including his retainer HASEKURA Tsunenaga) to Mexico, Spain and Rome.
